AUSTRALIAN FLAT-TOP BARBECUES
Australian Style barbecues usually come in three sizes (occasionally larger ones):-
810mm (wide) Cooking Size (ex. Trolley) - Cooking area 3840sq.cm - Usually 4 Burner
650mm (wide) Cooking Size (ex. Trolley) - Cooking area 3072sq.cm - Usually 3 Burner
500mm (wide) Cooking Size (ex. Trolley) - Cooking area 2450sq.cm - Usually 2 Burner
There are numerous different models available. Our policy is and continues to be the supply of quality barbecues and unsurpassable service to our customers. Due to fierce price-cutting, corners have been cut meaning that problems crop up. Unfortunately the suppliers of these barbecues are not the best in the world and customers who want a spare part are not treated as comfortably as the first-time buyer. Also the designs of the 'Australian' style is such that lava rock is still used in most and is about an inch away from the cooking surface thus giving flare-up problems. The style has also been developed by some, by heavy advertising, into the generic name for the Australian style, namely the Outback barbecue.
We have taken the decision to no longer hold stocks of what we class as the Australian style barbecue.
